Nikolaos Hartsas, Vice-President, Chief Executive, HARTSAS SA
Nikolaos Hartsas has a bachelor degree in Business Administration from the University of Indianapolis.
In 2000, he founded HARTSAS NIKOLAOS, a one-man transport company. At the same time he bought his first commercial truck.
During 2000-2010, he was involved in every branch of the company in order to gain first-hand knowledge for each and every one. Namely, he worked as a truck driver; he obtained a license to transport dangerous goods and he trained as a loading and unloading machine operator. During that period, he attended several courses, such as Financial Management – University of Michigan (15 weeks), Transportation Logistics Management – Korea Institute of Science (12 weeks), Human Resource Management – University of Piraeus (3 days), Green Transportation Logistics webinar, and “Leadership” seminar with D. Mpourantas.
In April of 2011, after he completed his military service as an Artillery Junior Officer, he became manager of the HARTSAS IOANNIS transport company. Since then, the two companies are located on the same, private own premises in Aspropyrgos.
Today, he is Vice-President and Chief Executive of HARTSAS Transports & Logistics SA. Since January 2015 he is a board member of the Greek Lostistics Company.
